Here’s a little bit about me…
Away from work…
I’m an enthusiastic hobby cook. The results are mixed but I'm embracing the journey with a good dollop of humour, and a glass of wine! My enjoyment & passion outweigh my talent but I'm very happy trying to create something 'tasty' in the kitchen for Mrs Treacle to have to be polite about! 😃
I’m married to the wonderful (and long-suffering) Alison, aka Mrs. Treacle. We have three amazing grown-up kids and our beloved Black Lab, Willy!
At work...
I’m an old 'travelling salesman' (in the nicest sense - not the double-glazing type) with three decades of experience representing designer homewares brands from Europe, supplying the best retail shops around the UK
These days (I’m well into my fifties now!), I act as a UK distributor for two Scandinavian brands, proudly partnering with Muurla Design and Havi Oy, both hailing from Finland.

I also run this little online shop, so please feel free to shop on this site for gifts for yourself or others!
I had a beautiful retail store in Tetbury, between 2018 and 2022 - tough years but great fun and the store was well loved.
Many of our wonderful store customers now shop online with me.
An old-fashioned approach
It sounds terribly old fashioned but I pride myself on trustworthiness and integrity. I take immense pride in looking after my customers - it matters to me that you have a great experience shopping with us.
Essentially, unless you are completely happy then I will refund you. It's that simple!
