These wind socks are made by drawing carp patterns on paper, cloth or other nonwoven fabric. They are then allowed to flutter in the wind. They are also known as satsuki-nobori.

In its multi-disciplinary design studio outside Copenhagen, The Dybdahl Co designs and produces prints and posters based on original images found in rare books and hidden in galleries, archives, libraries and museums. All images are printed on high-quality canvas or paper using Japanese archival ink.
The print will be delivered protectively packed in a cardboard tube, with no frame included. Frames can be purchased separately.
