The broad and curvaceous Luxus Table Lamp (model 6631) was introduced by Gebr. Kaiser & Co. introduced in 1936 and swiftly became established as the top model of the series. It remains a symbol of noble Germanic design, utilising an exquisite choice of materials and precise engineering, and can be adjusted by loosening the clamp at the base or turning the shade.
Designer Christian Dell was a German silversmith and designer who worked from 1922-25 as a foreman in the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Weimar, where he became renowned for his highly-innovative and pioneering style.
