A clever two-in-one lamp!
Since 2018, Marie Michielssen has made objects from papier mâché. Her Earth series is widely acclaimed because the material allows a handmade sculptural approach and gives an immediate cachet to functional objects.
For example, her latest creation, the Earth Table Lamp, is a beautiful light in its own right but is also highly suited for storing small items such as rings or a watch in the bowl-shaped base. A clever two in one lamp!
