To celebrate 120 years of the legendary Bistro chair, Fermob wrote a new chapter in the range's history by using this famous folding furniture as the basis for an ultra-comfortable chaise longue.
The new version retains Bistro's practical simplicity, compactness, foldability, ease of handling, timeless look and is available in 24 bright metal colours. It’s an easy-going sort of chair, can be carried effortlessly from one end of the garden to the other, and is the perfect accompaniment for a city-centre balcony.
The simple and solid Bistro folding chair was very popular among lemonade sellers of the late 19th century and still boasts an enduring appeal both in France and far beyond. This contemporary of the Eiffel Tower was sensitively restyled by Fermob, who have developed their classic range from the original model described in the ‘Simplex’ patent registered in 1889.
